Komal, a student of Gyanoday Mangatpuram Vatika, comes from a challenging background where she once lived near a garbage dumping ground in Meerut and assisted in waste collection. During this phase of her life, she lacked awareness about hygiene and the importance of education.
Her journey took a transformative turn after joining Gyanoday. With the guidance and support provided at the Vatika, Komal developed a keen interest in studies and adopted better hygiene practices. She secured admission to Shri Ram Dayal School in Meerut, marking a significant step forward in her educational journey. Although her studies were temporarily disrupted due to family challenges, the continued encouragement and support of Kiran Ma’am enabled her to resume and continue her education.
Over time, the impact of Gyanoday extended beyond Komal to her entire family. Her parents’ perspective towards education evolved positively—they now ensure that her siblings are enrolled at Bhai Joga Singh School in Meerut, actively participate in Parent-Teacher Meetings, and prioritize their children’s future. With Gyanoday’s guidance, her father also established a general store, improving the family’s financial stability. The family has since moved away from the garbage dumping area and now lives in a better environment.
Komal is determined to contribute meaningfully to society by spreading awareness about the importance of education. She remains deeply grateful to Gyanoday for transforming her life and is committed to making the organization proud.
