We would like to introduce Priyanka, a young woman with a unique goal in life: to become an electrician. It may seem unconventional for a woman to pursue a career in a male-dominated field like electrical work, but Priyanka’s determination and hard work have enabled her to defy stereotypes and achieve her dreams.
Coming from a small village and having lost her father at a young age, Priyanka needed to find a way to support her family. Her uncle, who worked with electrical equipment, helped her learn the basics of the trade. Priyanka then landed a job at an electrical firm, which provided her with valuable practical experience and further sparked her interest in the field.
Despite facing multiple obstacles due to her underprivileged background, Priyanka was able to pursue further education in pursuit of her dream. For the past six months, she has been a part of Gyanoday Vatika, where she has had the opportunity to further nurture her interests.
At Gyanoday, we believe that education and knowledge should not be limited by factors such as caste, creed, religion, or gender. Priyanka’s example is a testament to this belief. We are committed to supporting talented and ambitious individuals from underprivileged backgrounds, helping them overcome the beliefs and myths that hold them back and achieve their full potential.
We are proud to stand by Priyanka’s side, as well as many others like her who have the potential to succeed. By providing inspiration and resources, we aim to empower underprivileged children and enable them to become successful and contributing members of society.
